VOW IDEAS

There are MANY different options out there to choose from. It is important to select vows that accurately reflect your personalities and relationship. Whether you are going for a pre-written set, writing your own vows, or mixing and matching from several different sources, we are hear to help you.

Below are just a few examples to get you started as you decide. The first one we've included below is what we would call our "standard" vows. This is what we include when a couple just says they want "the usual vows." Typically, Pastor Greg will say a few words of the vow aloud, asking each of you to repeat the phrase, working through the entire vow in this manner.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before God and these witnesses, I BRIDE/GROOM take you GROOM/BRIDE, to be my HUSBAND/WIFE, from this time onward, to join with you, and share all that is to come, to give and to receive, to speak and to listen, to inspire and to respond, in all our life together, and to be loyal to you, with my whole being, as long as we both shall live. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BRIDE/GROOM, you are my best friend. I promise to laugh with you, cry with you, and grow with you. I will love you when we are together and when we are apart.
